World Link Finance has a comprehensive set of procedures to combat money laundering. This ranges from knowing your customer, staff and agent training to operational procedures. The American and British governments have imposed sanctions on specific people. World Link Finance Limited will not process transactions where these people are the intended beneficiaries
In order to conduct money remittance services World Link Finance ltd will require purchasers to provide certain information about them. In registering and providing such information, each purchaser represents and warrants that:
1. The information they are providing is true, accurate, current, and complete when provided to World Link Finance ltd in the registration forms. 2. Each purchaser will maintain and update the registration information in a timely manner and will keep it true, accurate, current and complete. If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or World Link Finance Ltd or governmental authorities having jurisdiction have reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, World Link Finance has the right to suspend or terminate the service you purchased and refuse any and or all current or future purchases or use of World Link Finance products and services. Purchaser agrees that services shall only be provided and delivered by World Link Finance only to the beneficiary specified in the transactional information obtained by World Link Finance from the purchaser. The transaction information shall include without limitation the name of the receiving beneficiary, the receiving jurisdiction, and in the context of a transfer, the amount and currency of the transfer of applicable funds. World Link Finance will not provide and transfer funds to a receiving beneficiary without presentation of documentation or evidence satisfactory to World Link Finance to identify the receiving beneficiary as the person referenced in the registration. In home deliveries World Link Finance will strictly enforce proof of identity and will demand that the beneficiary signs a receipt of purchase. If the beneficiary fails to sign the receipt and/or fails to identify himself/herself, the transfer will not be conducted and will be deemed suspicious. World Link Finance will then report this transaction to the authorities having jurisdiction in accordance with applicable laws.
World Link Finance will not provide any service unless the purchaser satisfies World Link Finance that the transfer is a legitimate transaction or believes the transaction amount may be or is part of a money laundering scheme or is a suspicious transaction. In such instance, the subject transaction will be reported to governmental authorities having jurisdiction in accordance with applicable laws.
Compliance with these policy requirements is not optional. The purpose of this policy is to detect and report money laundering attempts to the appropriate governmental authorities. Under the World Link Finance policy: electronic transactions will be logged into an information database and compared against pre-established profiles. As such, every transaction will be monitored. All purchasers and remittance activity will require identification (such as a copy of a valid driver license with a photograph) and/or passport and profile information. All documents will be photocopied and held on file. Anyone who will not provide identification or profile information will not be allowed access to World Link Finance. World Link Finance will make every effort to determine the source of funds, destination, and patterns and classify them according to pre-determined "profiles," and monitor their electronic remittance activity to detect deviations or suspicious activities.
